Hi Ben,
Welcome to the forum.
Need a bit more info before I can put ups some ideas;
Do you want colour or black n shade?
Is it text based, symbolic or mxture?
What style serious, comical, fantasy, biomech, biblical etc
Anything you really dislike?
More than happy to bounce ideas, post links etc just need to know a little more about your tastes.
Take care
Matthew
Hey cheers for replying, in reply to your post
Do you want colour or black n shade? – i definately want colour, much prefer coloured tattoo’s personally
Is it text based, symbolic or mxture? i want a mixture, obviously an image as the main part of the tattoo but i would like to incorparate both my parents names and my sisters since they have all been a huge part of my life
What style serious, comical, fantasy, biomech, biblical etc, i want this to be a serious tattoo, its a dedication to the 3 main people in my life, maybe something that symbolises each of there personalities, but definately a serious tattoo
Anything you really dislike? im open to all ideas
cheers 🙂
Hi Ben,
Just throwing a few ideas out there for you to consider;
Animalistic – These could vary according to what sort of animal you like, be it big cats, wolves, bears etc. The theme is to have two adult animals (arguments sake lions).
The male lion (father) is stood upwards with the adult female (mother) crouched protectively around their cub (sister).
Heraldry – Your family names encased within a shield with two lions rampant on eitherside. Maybe a crown or antlers above. Could also add some crossed swords behind the shield.
Hands and Hourglass – On your back you have two open palms (an open form of the praying hands) clutching an hour glass within them. Within the sands of the hour glass you could have their names, showing that both your family and time are precious.
The hourglass could be replaced by a symbolic heart as well.
Religious Symbols – Eg Cross, Star of David.
Couple of ideas here;
1. Their names form the shape of the religious symbol surrounded by some blossoms, floral, or clouds.
2. Their names are engraved within the symbol encasing them in their protection.
Angels
Could have a warrior angel with their names as scripture within the wings or as part of a banner, engraved in a trumpet etc.
Alternatively have an angel with open arms cradling a book with their names upon it.
Just a few to be getting on with.
Take Care
