My suggestions are first of all decide exactly what you want in the tattoo;
Is the main focus the guitar with wings?
Do you want a hot rod as the centre piece with the guitar incorporated into the piece?
An idea I had was get a classic hot-rod car design and on the grill have a metallic shaped guitar that is winged in the centre.
Across the bonnet you could have the flames forming into fiery dice (gambling) and some pinstripe along the side of the door or a rocker driving the car in pinstripe.
However
Should you want to go with the design from the T-Shirt I would totally remove the wings and replace them with something better. Those wings would not look good on a tat and you can do so much better design wise.

sorry my first post wasnt actually that clear reading back at it haha. i do agree and the first thing i did was clip the wings from the image.
the pinstripes i think are something i really want from the image; its really just what i want in the middle… something a bit oldschool. hmmm
