    I have my cross drawn up but instead of getting just the plain cross i got the idea that it would lke nice to have a scene within the cross itself. I am having trouble deciding on what to get within it…
    any input is welcome.

    you could get some sort of a dove around it somewhere, maybe some olive branches or plants, some clouds/smoke around it, maybe some text….. theres a ton of ideas to go with that =]

    Hi JD

    Are you wanting something biblical in your scene?
    What does the tattoo mean or represent to you?

    If you let me know I can put some suggestions forward – I have quite a few just not sure what it is you like or are looking for.

    Im looking for something biblical. I am getting this tattoo because Im am enlisting in the military shortly and i will not be able to wear my cross. But i am getting the tattoo on my chest to remind me and show me that god is always with me. The scripture i am getting is more than likely going to be psalms37:24. But i am not a hundred percent set on this, when im reading if i read a scripture i like i write it down for further consideration. But i am mainly looking for a scene that is biblical

    Hi

    Psalms 34:27 is that the one where it says if he falls he will not be cast down utterly because the Lord’s hands holds him?

    Ok I checked it is Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

    I was close :p

    From this imagery there are several things you could have added to your cross;

    You could have the cross resting in the palm of a hand representing G-d supporting you.

    A staff or stave placed at the foot of the cross – Psalm 23:4 My rod and staff comfort me.

    Another is to have a kneeling figure at the base of the cross being lifted by another figure stopping them from falling.

    I think it is one of the nicer psalms and has a lot of possibility for a tattoo.
