    i want to get wood grain on the lower part of my leg covering the whole thing to resemble a peg leg. when i talked to a friend who has gotten many tattoos he said that it wouldn’t look right for the wood grain to go all around my lower leg. he didn’t know how to explain it, he only said it just wouldnt look right if it connected all the way around. i was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true or if it is could explain why this is. any suggestions on how to make this tattoo would be great.

    your friend is prob right , but you could make the front and back look as if its a peg leg.

    Hi

    To get the depth and detail that you want would take hours and hours to get as there would be really delicate detailing that would be needed to give the whole leg the wood effect.

    As suggested why not get a peg leg tattooed over your leg front and back as symbolic piece – which will be easier and cheaper to achieve.

    i think it souds great…. i agree that it would be quite a difficult piece to do, but it would be possible.

    i think you have been watching too many pirate video’s LOL… :p
