Hey guys, I’m gonna be expanding my tribal piece soon and I want some opinions on a way to maybe make it more original.
I want to expand my tribal piece to look somethign like… this one:

I want my tribal to go down the back the same way this one does, now the question is, what could I add to it, to make it more original.
Maybe adding some “faded” tribal roots over the black one?
Something like this:

Any ideas would be appreciated.
My suggestion would be to rethink the whole tribal thing.
Do any of these things actually represent a tribe as such or is it just black swirls?
I don’t want my tattoo to “represent” anything, I just want it to look good and I like the way it looks.
Weird question but do any of the Kanji or Koi thingys represent your Chinese relevance?
i don’t think the words tribal or kanji belong in a thread titled with the word “originality.”
Hi DMD, I know we are a bunch of judgmental asses on this site, sorry, but I don’t think there’s much you can do to make this more original, you can only make it bigger. At least on this site, tribal is not something that can be thought of that way- and adding kanji to it would make it even more common.
If it’s what you want, go for it, just don’t expect too much support from this site.
