Hi I am about to get my first tattoo, and from the beginning i knew it was gonna be a mean vinking. One day I found a picture of the god of thunder Thor (norse mythology) here http://img84.imageshack.us/i/thorh.jpg/ then i asked a couple of my friends what they thought about it and alot of them said it was to detailed. So my question is: is it to detailed? The thought was it were gonna be on my arm and shoulder.

I think that will make a good tattoo. Your artist may want to have some freedom in working the design, but it is not overly detailed. If your going Black/Grey Shaded, you could probably add more detail.

It’s not too detailed. That could be done easy, probably even better with finer detail. You just need to do your homework and find the right tattooer. Good luck.

I think it’s really linear… do you want it to be all lines like this? You could take this idea and get it shaded instead and have a lot more detail in there. Up too you, it would look good either way.
