I plan on getting a chest piece very soon, here’s what i have in mind so far. I was thinking about getting the words pursuit of happiness across my chest, not in real big letters, accomponied by a pair of hands with a blue bird flying out. I wanted the words and hands to just be shaded and the blue bird be the only part with color. I know that bluebirds symbolize happiness. I want the tattoo to mean “do what makes YOU happy, live for youself” that kind of thing. But i think that maybe pursuit of happiness is to typical. What do you guys think, should i just not put any words in and let the images speak? And any suggestion on anything else i could incorporate? Any symbols of happiness or being free? Thanks

i think you should put an entire quote on one chest. smallest font possible.

This says it all. Just get a good artist to do it. Tell him what you want.
For me the pursuit of happiness would be better described with bagpipes, waves of grain, a steer, a lobster, a beach with sand dunes, a sunset, and bagpipes.
Bagpipes represent a fine single malt scotch
Waves of grain:
1) Wheat, for the bread of life
2) Rye, for a fine rye whiskey
3) Barley, for an enhancement of all of the things above
A steer, and lobster for a delicious surf and turf dinner
Beach and sand dunes for a memorable day in the wind, waves, and sun with a most wonderful woman
Sunset: when the sun goes down behind the dunes so does my wonderful woman
Bagpipes, I sure need another glass of a fine single malt scotch.
What the fuck was I talking about?
Are you a dude?
Sounds like a bad idea for a guy. Words…dont do it.
Happiness is fleeting.
The entire idea sounds bad to me. Especially as a chestie?
