I don’t think it necessarily needs to be lasered off, once it heals and fades a bit, a great artist could easily re-work it into being a lot better.
For expanding.. Well, you can do anything. Big, bright flowers to surround it, build down the arm with other images you like. It can be skulls, candles, birds, any number of things.
But you need a much better artist. And less of a tan the next time you go in, as it makes it harder to work on and especially with color. (Your tan lines are showing)
