I’m new to the tattoo world and before really getting involved I want to deepen my knowledge of tattoo trends in various places in the worlds, during various eras and worn by specific groups.

Currently, I’m looking into North American tattoo history for First Nations people. I’ve been able to find multiple sources for early tattoo trends and styles but am curious about how they changed with time. For example, what type of tattoos could you see of First Nations people wearing in the 1980s? Did they still primarily wear traditional tattoos?
