I live in Illinois, and have been self teaching myself. I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, and have wanted to start tatting forever. I’ve been using practice skins, my own skin, and a couple of friends’ skin. Now I’m getting close to feeling confident enough to start charging people.
My question is this….
My 15 yr kld daughter has been begging me for a super simple tattoo on the inside of her wrist FOREVER.
Illinois law states that nobody under 18 can get inked “Even with a parents approval”.
How does that work if the parent is the one holding the needle(s)???
I gave her the ink tonight, and she immediately posted pics to Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, etc. People started blowing her up, telling her that her dad (me) could be charged with a misdemeanor.
Is this true?
Should I make her delete her posts, or just turn myself in? LMAO
