My husband wants to get a new tattoo of a .40 springfield gun and put it on the outside of his thigh. I think its the worst idea and will look bad on him. He already has three tats one of which he doesn’t even like any more. What should I say about him getting this new tattoo? I can’t control him and say he can’t get it but I really don’t want to let him go through with this. This is a very delicate situation and I would love outside input and suggestions.

It’s his body and his choice. My suggestion would be to talk to him. Let him know what you think of the situation. Then, come up with a compromise. I think the compromise should be him having to wait a certain time frame before ultimately going through with it. (Like3 months or so.)
get on any website at all that shows tattoos and show him how trendy that paticular design has become
say something like “way too many people are doing it”
OR, you could just be honest and tell him what you told us
that you really just don’t want him to do it.
….and that you’re not saying that to be __tchey or controlling….just because you can’t not say something when it comes to matters that important.
