I currently have a large Eagle head/wing tearing through the skin on my left sholder and I am looking into turning it into a half sleeve. I have one talon and have decided to add another talon. That leaves about 65% open space and I am looking for ideas for backgound material. Any thoughts?

Here’s an interesting idea for ya:
Since the eagle is trying to get out.. you could make it look like fencing or barbed wire. Or like your arm is made of metal and again the eagle is trying to break free. That idea would be as though you were an android or machine on the outside, and the beast or animal within trying to break free!!

From what I’m understanding from you the only thing I can think of the enhance the original piece would be to keep it ripping the skin, just have different parts of the eagle breaking through, maybe incorporate a serpant in a claw and also ripping through in different parts. In effect you will be using the eagle/serpant whatever as the background and using the skin as the forground.
