We pick up our rescue dog from the RSPCA tomorrow. She has a tattoo in her right ear, is this just a de sexing tattoo or is it a breeders tattoo. If it is a breeders tattoo how can I trace it.

I would start by asking someone at RSPCA and then your Vet.
If it’s a greyhound it’ll be the racing ID. Never heard of another breed being tattooed before, unless being exported. Best way to trace it would be to take a picture, print it out and then trace it.
I take it it’s just a numbered code? not some work of art, if it is the people should be hunted down and skinned alive!!

Type in the tattoo for both ears in the right place and it should tell you all you need to know!
