Hi there,
I am about to get a memorial tatt for my son. I want the colors to really pop because he was just 6 weeks old when he died I want it as if it would appeal to a kid if that makes sense. I am not sure what colors really pop on the skin.
Regards Darren
red and blue….. black and yellow…. blue and green…..
opposite colours to the spectrum work and stand out…..
got a pic or sketch of what you want done?
Hi Tattman,
here is the tatt. Still deciding on fonts and the text in the tribal will follow it around not be sitting where it is
Regards Darren
This is for the inside of my forearm
This wraps around the outside of my forearm
for the initial tribal part i would go with a black fill and also a bit of red thrown in or even a blue.
as for the writing i would go with purple and green.
now i know these colours are different but each bring out the intensity of the other and yes it is random but if you watch any child of a young age. there choice of colour is almost random also. there not worried with the colour they choose. whether they mix and match or not. they choose the colour almost at random.
plus as you said you wanted it to be appealing to young children. a child isnt going to worry whether the colours go together or not. these colours do go well if matched properly anyway…. look at it in a childs perspective. bring out the inner child and give it a shot….
by the way i like the design and i think it will work out well. when are you thinking of getting it done?
i recal seeing that rocketeer tattoo in skin deep not long ago.
The yellow really made it stand out very well.
But also the suggestions demure has made above would all look very good contrasting against each other
