Hi all, I have just stumbled across this site and loving it! I’m after peoples input on foot tattoos, I am sorry if this has been asked before too! I have the design I want I just need to find the courage! I know it will hurt im just wondering if it will be as bearable as my others, I have one on the inside of my wrist, my ankle, lower back and the nape of my neck and while they hurt, it wasnt an unbearable pain, more an inconvenience, if that makes sense? I stupidly watched foot tattoos being done on youtube and each one looks excruciating! I shall not be getting the tattoo on the top of my foot, which is where most of the people in the videos were getting them done its more on the right side of my right foot, about an inch or so from the ankle bone, not on it and im thinking is it going to be terrible pain? Its weird. I have never worried about the others, but this time im trying to find the nerve! Appointment is booked for Tuesday and im over thinking it I guess… Once again, I am new here and I do apologise if this subject has been done to death! :confused:

seriosly though, it is a boney area but it sounds like your geting too worried, just dont be temped to take any asprin pain killers before you go, all it will do is thin your blood out and you will bleed like hell.
im sure you will be fine, make sure you take some photo’s and post them up, but the main thing is to enjoy yourself 😉
glad to hear you got it done, also glad to hear it wasnt too painful, i must say that the last person who’s foot i tattoo’d cried at certain points …. but i didnt want to say that when you were asking as i didnt want it to put you off…. well done, and i cant wait to see the pickies
ps… not being a perve but i personally think that a nice tattoo on a girls foot looks sexy… :p thats probably why i would rather tattoo a womans foot than her boob…. and no it aint a fetish hahahahaha

So here is the picture of my foot, I apologise for leaving it for the longest to post this I just have a shocking memory! However here it is and honestly, it is the favourite of all 5 tattoo’s so thanks for your advice guys!

Thanks! It did hurt the most out of all of the tattoo’s I have but so worth it in the end! When people say they want tattoo’s but are to afraid to go through with it I tend to tell them it hurts but its all worth it in the end. The tattooist took about 15 minutes to do this so 15mins of aggravating scratching to have a beautiful end result is no contest for me 🙂
