im in the british forces and for me the most common design to get tattoo’d here is tribal. everyone seems to head out and just get a tribal design done. I think more so in this profession there are a lot of folk who are tattoo’d so for new guys coming through to ‘fit in’ they simply get a tribal piece which everyone already has….kind of ‘tried and tested’. i personally am not into the whole tribal thing but hey, its your body…do as you please.
