Look around your area for an artist who has some talent in cover ups and talk to them. Usually the more detailed and vivid the new design the better it will hide the old tattoo. You also might need to get a few zaps of lazer removal to bring down the ink a bit but I wouldn’t know to be honest, hence why you should talk to someone good at doing cover ups.

Yeah to be fair i think that is quite a hard tattoo to cover up. it depends.. what kind of new design would you want?
If your open to it i would say go for a bigger tattoo if you would prefer it to the one you already have, maybe something with more detail.. or even colour. It could come out pretty cool and a new design feature 🙂

A nicely coloured dragon across the chest and shoulder would cover that up no problem if you got plenty of colour in it.
You could go tribal – but I always say a custom piece is much nicer.

Any decent tattooist should be able to get it covered.
If you did decide to lighten/remove you would be talking at least 4-5 laser sessions and for the pain and money might be better investing in a decent tattoo.

Good luck and cannot wait to see what you decide upon.
