i saw this guy with a tattoo that looks like what u get after a small motorcycle accident and he said the artist overworked his tattoo…. Does anyone know how to get this tattoo to look its best after its fully healed? He can’t go back for touch-up sessions as he got the tattoo at a convention from an artist that was not from his country….
Hi Ck
Well the only advice I can give based on the info is make sure it is fully healed then take it to an experienced artist.
They should be able to fill in any spots, tighten lines etc.
If it was an absolute dog of a tattoo they may have to consider a cover-up again with no pics hard to say.

Yeah man, tats or GTFO!
We’d love to help you as best we can man, but without pics, good advice is just pretty much impossible.

basically it is a minor wound, use a very thin layer of a good antiseptic cream such as savlon and rub it in …. dont use germoline or lanolin based creams. DONT COVER IT unles it is in a dusty or dirty work environment.
after about 5 days it should be ok to just use a none scented body moisturising cream.
once it has healed it can be touched up by another artist, but i would recommend leaving it for at leat 2 months before even thinking about putting any more ink into it. ๐
Or, what he said. Yeah, that works too.
Damn professional artist showing the rest of us up. ๐
