for my first tattoo, i am planning on getting a phoenix on my right ribs. im trying to decide on whether or not i want to have it in black andgray or colored.
what are yall’s input?
Really gotta be your own choice mate, no-one knows your taste better than you. I personally like black and grey at the moment, but I do find my taste changes over time.
For me if it is a fairly small piece (like mine on arms) I would go black and shade.
My backpiece I am going for full colour because if you are going big do it some justice. A phoenix needs colour – otherwise it would just look a little flat.
my mate got a phoenix on his ribs, ive only seen it at the stage of outline and shade. but he is getting it in vibrant reds and oranges. so its gonna look really good. im all for the colour idea.
as someone else said though depends what your more into.
yeah, if i was getting it in color, i was going to do yellows reds and oranges.
i was going to get this
but with my artists’ personal touches in it. and without the flowers.
