    Hey I’m more or less making this thread for a second opinion or what not. I want to get a big tree on my rib cage that has branches that go up my back, chest, and side; also the roots will go down past my waist. I want it to have a deep brown with green leaves on all the branches. To me it will symbolize life, and enlightenment. What do you guys think?

    I know it’s supposed to only matter to me, but this will be my first tattoo and I wanted some feedback.

    Hi

    I have seen a few Tree of Life tats and have yet to be dissapointed with them.
    With the right artist they make a great tattoo.

    Interestingly enough part of the psychology exams for ppl who want transgender operations has shown a strong affinity for the drawings of trees etc as meant to be a representation of female personoa.

    Not that i am suggesting you have cross-gender desires I am just full of useless info :p

    Something I learned in psych class back in the day, when I was a psych major, was that there’s a tendency in the western mind to project our own failings, insecurities, and twisted subconsious desires onto others.
