    It means “hey look at me I’ve got a tribal heart face necklace tattoo.”

    The tattoo is loosely based off the polynesian and samoan style of tattooing that is known as tribal.

    The face is a modern concept of the scarification of the tribesmen that would have their faces cut and tattooed to denote family status, wealth, and power. As well as what region they are from.

    Or it could be loosely based of Tiki – the first human there are several statues in polynesian culture showing a smiling ‘fat faced’ human with tattooed hands and face.

    The other option is possibly african origin of a death or spirit mask although the shape seems to be more polynesian as african masks tend to be somewhat thinner and usually sport some sort fangs or wild hair.

    It is modern tribal and a very nice piece.
