Are there certain techniques to color shading to make the color turn out the best without having to go over the skin over and over again to fill it with color? I have a Mickey Bees Lightning shader machine that cost me $250. I also have a TTS power supply with separate plug-ins for shading and lining machines that cost me $150. I have Starbright ink which I hear is pretty good. But it still seems like the color doesn’t want to go in that well. Especially with certain colors like white. Is there something I’m missing?
On the back of my power supply is a switch with 115V and 230V. Is there a preference as to what setting it should be on?
And I use disposable tips because I don’t have an autoclave and I don’t want to take the chance of spreading anything. Could that maybe have anything to do with why the ink doesn’t go in as well?

    thanks
