okay, so tomorrow is the day…this will be my last question and my next post will have pictures of a (hopefully) finished tattoo, that is if i can sit through it lol. so for those of you who don’t know or remember i’m getting a mem tat with the ace of spades, 4 leaf clover, dice, and yamaha symbol. it will have some smoke too i think. last night i had a mini epiphany lol and was wondering if i should either add poker chips or replace the dice with them…maybe the cards are enough to symbolize poker? idk…is it too late to call and see if the artist can add to or change the drawing? i don’t want to be rude and inconsiderate! would the chips make it too much or round it out?

    Hi,

Dice are always perfect when considering a gambling tattoo, but have nothing to do with poker. Considering I haven’t seen the design, therefor there is a chance it might need to be tweeked to fit poker chips in the right area. If you decide to add poker chips id suggest only 1 with detail sort of like the one in this link

by the sounds of things you pretty much already have a busy tattoo as it is a poker chip might look out of place, and no it is not to late to call and have it changed unless your artist is an asshole
Ultimatley its your decision considering you have to live with it so whatever pleases you

A few poker chips shouldn’t be too hard to add on the spot.

I like the idea, I would go for it.
