i’d love to see a picture of it! i used a&d ointment for about 4 days and switched over to lotion, unscented. i’ve never used the bepanthan stuff so i’m not sure. when i had my first several years ago i used tattoo goo and they told me just to stick with that until healed…this time i was told to wait about 3 days and switch to just lotion. i waited till day 4 when most of the tenderness was gone (its on my rib=very sore) so i think everyone is different. i would think after almost a week though you’d be okay to switch but there will be more experienced answers for you soon i’m sure:) congrats on your first tat! no scabbing is okay, i don’t remember my first ever scabbing and the itching is def normal, mine is going crazy right now! enjoy:)

very pretty, i like it. its actually a diaper rash ointment lol…but its what i was told to use and it worked! who would’ve thought? i had to ask the artist the same thing though! and after he told me i was like ‘what? are you serious’ 😉

just 2 so far, but am planning on others. not sure what exactly. i have to have my first one fixed or maybe covered up so that will probably be my next step!
