Are there any books about different tattooing techniques? Like shading and everything else basically? I have been looking( not very hard) and cant come up with anything. I have done about 10 tattoos already with real equipment and sterilized equipment. They have all came out great. Now its time for me to start reaching into more indepth tattoos. Any help would be appreiciated… Thanks!

    Hi Carrera

There are a number of books for sale on the topic but because we cannot discuss unlicensed tattooing I cannot post them up.

All you have to do is take a look on the internet and goto a specialised bookdealer and they should list them no problem.

If you are serious about it as a profession do not let a bit of work put you off.

    Hi

    One I would recommend is

Tattoo Machine: Set Up Tuning and Maintenance by Joey D (Infinite Irons) quite an interesting read.

Theren there is a colelction of 5 guides from tattooing tips to business set up that is supposed to be quite good but not read it myself.

The ultimate tattoo bible – check amazon might be cheaper but they do have a website http://www.ultimate-tattoo-bible.com/?gclid=CJTNsuHz4JoCFRIgZwodUxJLBg

The site looks tacky but apparently the info is quite solid.

This one is quite good for going through a series of the basics:

http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Tattoo-How-Secrets-Masters/dp/1929133332# and is much cheaper than the bible one.

Foer general tattoo reference this site has a nice collection of books which have some great history and designs – I own most of them and are great reads (not technique but still good for a pro or enthusiast)

If you let me know specifically i will try and narrow it down for you.
