Hey there all, I had a couple tattoos when I was younger and now I have realised the importance of valuabe arm real estate. I was wondering if what I have on my upper arm can be easily covered up into some form of a half sleeve. I want to stay away from asian inspired sleves even though I know they are the easiest to cover up with. Getting it lasered is out of the question since they dont have a place around here that can do that. So what do you guys think? The sad thing is I really like the leprechaun but there isnt much detail to it and there is a lot of arm spece aorund it that cant really be utilized. So what do you guys/gals think?
Hi
Could do with a better picture to be honest.
That said you will have to go very bold colouring and/or deep black to cover the tattoos. It should be possible but you would need to plan carefully each section.
What sort of sleeve are you looking for?

ok put a better pic up, this webcam sucks ass. I am really not sure what I want, I have never really dived into the whole sleeve thing before but I know it is the only way to really make it look good. I dont mind some of the Asian themed sleeves, I do like the ones that utilize the fish scales in the blacks and reds. I have also thought about a cutaway of the skin showing something underneath but with the tob tribal piece that will be hard to do I think. I really do like the whole machine/biometrical thing.
Hi
Yep the use of deep reds, purples, blacks etc will cover the leprachaun (sp?) the ribal maybe a little harder but I have seen worse covered.
That said why not rework the leprachaun with some more detail and colour and expand the theme with that?
Otherwise a koi and blood/fire lotus would work well.
Or you could go bio-mech with steel cables and wiring coming out of torn flesh and circling the shoulder which would cover the tribal up.
Take care
Matthew
