Hello. I currently am working with an artist on doing a full Norse (viking mythology and people) sleeve. Amoung a few things I have I would now like to get Gjallarhorn done with the same celtic border as the rest. Gjallarhorn is the horn that Heimdall blows to signal the coming of Ragnarok in Norse Mythology. The only problem I’m having is finding a type of viking drinking horn that can represent such a powerful item such as Gjallarhorn, let alone something tattoable. Does anyone have any suggestions, pictures, etc of viking drinking/horns that I can use as a template for Gjallarhorn so that I can draw it out and give it to my artist? Any help is appreciated.
