so i just hit 18 two months ago and i figured its time….yes it will be my first.

im going to get an Alpha and Omega tattoo. the Alpha will be on the back of my left arm starting from the lower shoulder and ending in the upper elbow. and Omega will be the exact same but on the other arm. only thing i cant decide is which Asian calligraphy looks the best, if you had to pick out of the 3, which would you pick: Chinese, Japanese or Korean?

oh and does it really hurt that much? any advice would be nice for a first timer you vets:D

    Hi Ryder

To be honest it is a matter of personal taste having looked at all of the different characters they all look good to me.

The main thing is getting the translation correct so it is exact and not just a ‘sounds like’.

Just to clarify you getting the Alpha and Omega translated from Greek to an Asian style of character? I am just asking as the Greek translation is very specific in the sense of begining and ending – spiritual and physical end of times sort of thing.

Otherwise check out this link some great examples of Alpha and Omega.

Pain wise – I won’t lie it does hurt – sometimes a lot mostly it is a discomfort. On the arms should be slightly less painful.

It will start at a cat scratch upwards.
