i got a tattoo a little over a year ago on the back of my arm, its quite thin (just 6 letters), and its still sticking out a bit from my arm. about half a millimeter on the thickest parts and a third on the shinest parts. just wondering, is this normal?
i think its normal if you got your tattoo done by a butcher
does that meen that an artist who knew what he was doing would have caused me less pain while making it?
cause im thinking of getting a big one on my back of a dragon and a phoenix fighting 😛
Possibly.
Before you get another tattoo research the studio you plan to get it from. Where are you? Maybe someone here can direct you to a good place.
lol, im from oslo norway, but im not getting the other one for a while, i want it BIG, so i cant afford it atm
some artists will charge by the hour. that’s what I’m doing. pay-as-you-go. the girl I go to does 3 to 5 hours every 2 weeks till it’s done. got about 20 hours in it so far.
the one on my back sticks out too. the original artist dug wayyyy too deep when he did it originally. i’ve had it touched up since then and it’s not as bad but i can still feel it sometimes when i reach back to scratch it. i’ve also got one spot on my shoulder blade that STILL hurts a little when i scratch it – even lightly – thinking maybe a nerve…… damn butcher
