    I have a nautical star on my arm. It is blue and black, the problem is, the blue is wayyyy to dark and now my tattoo looks like its all black unless your close up. in this pic its about 3 months old

    When it was about 3 months old, i did go get a touch up to see if the artist could lighten it up it look amamzing when i left and i thought it was fixed.

    so that was about a week ago when I got the touch up, and its going back to a darker tint again, but not quite as dark as it once was. Do you think if i wait a few weeks they can go over it again and lighten it up some more? I am also open to any ideas to cover it up or redesign it, below is what it looks like after the touch up

    Being careful not to list technique for the public there is much I cannot say. What I can do is give cautionary advice though. Be very careful how many times you choose to work the same area of skin, especially as often as you are or you’ll start to visibly scar. It’s there forever, slow down a bit and be very choosy.

    If you leave it, it may fade a bit over time, and the blue may lighten a bit. It also depends on the type of pigment used.
