Hi
Thank-you to everybody for the support – it is something I have been mulling over for months now.
@ Tana they are drugs that increase my red blood count so I clot better – keeps anemia at bay and is a synthetic form of erythropoietin.
Kinda make you feel flu-like and lazy though. Which I don’t need much pushing in that direction lol.
I will get some pics up when it has had a few days to heal – I don’t usually post on WIP but since I am been nagged.. I mean asked :p I will do.
I am still deciding on whether to go colour or black n shade (my main preference is black and shade but backpieces usually deserve colour  )
The artist is Phil Webster from Skin Chaos (The Tattoo Shop).
Not the best website in the best website in the world but he only does custom work – the flash stuff is his apprentice.
He has been going for 20+ years and i really quite like his unique take/style.
Thanks again.
Matthew
nagged  LOL
how you feeling then ? good to get the needles back in your skin !
Im totally unsure about colour or black and gray !
normally i would suggest colour straight away because i do often think its a shame to have japanese work done in black and gray , but because you already have two large tattoos that are black and gray i would lean towards having the back piece done black and gray also .
thats prob because im a girl and we love to colour coordinate 😀
Well, as to color coordination, he has b&w work on either arm, so if his back is done in color, it’s almost as if it’s framed in b&w. As long as any subsequent pieces are b&W, it should work out.
Of course, my wrist gauntlet is b&w and is worked into a colored sleeve, and it works. It’s all about how well your artist works your design.
With that said, of course, I’d push you towards B&W Matt man. If that’s where your passion is, and your artist has been doing his thing for 20+ years, it should be one of those back pieces that blow your fucking mind.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
