hi errrbody! im getting a sleeve done on my leg with traditional japanese art, peice will include samurai, windbars, water, clouds, flowers.
I already know which flowers i want, and their meanings, but what are they called? please chime in if you know. thanks 🙂

well i got samurai about 2 years ago. and just want to add to it. adding a lotus flower down by the ankle, and 1 botan on back of calf, and maybe one more botan on my thigh and a kiku on the back of my thigh, same spot as the pic below..
Also adding sakuras all over. tattoo will be full leg sleeve from upper thigh to foot. and everything is black and gray, even the sakuras.
need to add something to my thigh so its not just a whole bunch of background, but having a hard time thinking of something, not into koi, dragons or masks, so not sure what else to add that would flow with the peice. i would add a snake, but i have one on my other leg. here is what i got so far..

There are many demi-gods and demons within Japanese mythology maybe add some into the scene as the watch the battle as entertainment?
You could have traditional temple or fishing scenes in the background or cranes in flight.
