Calling all aspiring artists, create your own tattoo and you could be in with a chance to have your design featured in the advert for Ed Hardy’s fragrance

From Victoria Beckham’s dainty and discrete inscribing on her neck to Megan Fox’s bold and beautiful Marilyn Monroe arm artwork, tattoos are the most fierce thing in fashion – and we’re head over heels for them.

If you fancy foraying into the fascinating world of tattoo design then unleash your inner romantic and get your creative scribblings onto paper (or any sendable surface you can think of) as we’re offering you the chance to get your love-themed drawing into not only Cosmopolitan magazine, but as part of the staggering designs of tattoo artist Ed Hardy.

The talented tattoo designer will have to tap into their inner Romeo or Juliette as we’re on the hunt for a love-themed drawing. The romantic artist who’s selected will not only see their drawing as part of the Ed Hardy fragrance advert in the March issue of Cosmo – (out in time for Valentines day), they’ll also be rewarded with the ultimate accolade, something from the God of tattoos himself.

The prize includes an Ed Hardy watch, worth around £250! His collection of wrist candy in collaboration with super-cool designer, Christian Audigier, pack a powerful fashion punch and are loved by celebs.

Ed Hardy tattoo Five runners up will win 100ml sets of either the Ed Hardy men’s or women’s fragrance – so you can decide whether to reward yourself or treat your man. And that’s not all, included in the runner-up prize is an Ed Hardy makeup set.

The judging panel will comprise of Cosmopolitan’s Creative Director, Andy Greenhouse, Web Editor, Kate Creasey Gregory Boursier and Brendon Maye from New Wave Fragrances UK (the people behind Ed’s fragrance) who will chose the winner in December.

Then we need you! The top 10 entries will be shortlisted and we need you to vote on your favourite. The top five drawings (as voted for by you) will be our runners up with the winner being announced on Valentines Day, 14 February 2010.

So go on, get you, your man and your mates loved up and sketching for your chance to be featured as part of Ed Hardy’s etchings.
