hi im looking to get a tiger tattood on my left side/ribs as if it is leaping across me, i want it in a japanese style, but i cant really find any pictures of anything similar online to use as a reference to take to my artist. is there any reason for this? i have found plently of tiger tattoos online but most of them tend to be stationary or leaping out of the skin.

does anyone have any opinions on this, would it work as a tattoo?
with my other tattoo i took a few pictures of things i liked to my artist but let him run with it, i think i am going to do a similar thing this time

It would make a very nice tattoo. Have you looked at national geographic site?
They have some great tiger shots.
It is really a choice on how realistic you want your tiger to be as in photographic portrait to a more cartoon like piece – they all work very well with a good artist.
