Do shops have an age requirement for people coming with you while you’re getting your tattoo? Would I be able to take my 13 year old brother with me, or would he have to be 18?

depends on the shop. some let em others dont.

Like said above best bet is to ask, I was told I could take my son in but only if he waited in the waiting room as no one under 18 was allowed in the ‘tattooing room’ if that makes sense. Give the shop a call and ask. x

It shouldn’t be a problem.
I’ve had several women bring in their younger children while they were getting worked on in the shop.
So I don’t forsee a problem with you bringing your brother.
But like others said; just call to be sure

its always best to make a quick phone call just to make sure, but im sure that if you ensure he sits there and behaves then it shouldnt be a problem…. some shops only say no because they dont want kids running around or being noisy or getting in the way.

the lagal age is regarding the age of the client being tattoo’d not the age of any persons going into the premises 😉
