I’ve been getting my tattoo done for a while now. After a session yesterday it’s tantalisingly close to being finished. Just a couple of hours next week and it’s done.

Until yesterday it’s been completely covered when I’m clothed, but the last bit of work stretches down my left arm a little and just peeks out from under the sleeve of my t-shirt.

I’m surprised how happy I am that it’s finally visible (albeit a very small fraction of it). I’m sure my reaction is mostly juvenile glee (hey look at me – I got a TATTOO! :rolleyes:), and I know it’s not big, and it’s not clever – but I can’t help but look at it and smile

I know what you mean, and congrats on almost finishing it. Do you have any pictures so far?

Mine does the same thing, a little bit just pokes over the backs of some shirts and dresses and I love it.

I love showing mine off too, can’t wait till summer so i can wear strappy tee shirts so my ink can be seem, I make do with looking in the mirror during the winter months!

mine shows out the bottom of most half sleeve tops , i dont mind it apart from when i take my son to school im not keen on it showing

My final session is on Wednesday. I’ll post some pics when it’s done. It’s not nearly as elaborate or beautiful as some of the tattoos I’ve seen here, but it means something to me anyway and I’m definitely happy with it!
