My friend wants a tattoo that says “Forever” in cursive running down his side.
Our appointment to get inked is on the 8th.
He likes wavy and swirly fonts…
Any recomendations?
My suggestion would be Chancery Cursive. Although this style of writing has evolved to look a lot like Spencerian ( which I don’t particularly favor ), if you do a google search for ‘Chancery Cursive’ you will find some excellent “old school” text. Makes a pleasant, flowing style of tattoo especially good for simple names or words, without scrolls, filigree etc.
Most parlors have books with fonts in them that you can look at and decide on the spot. When i got the cursive writing on my arm, i went to the artist i did because it’s his freehand writing style, half gangsta, half elegant! =)
Ya, we just went in to talk to my artist today.
My friend is super indecisive…
I have a major feeling he is going to regret this piece. But whatever.
Bill just said he would freehand it onto him if he was ok with it…
I could tell that that made my friend nervous as hell, but I trust Bill’s judgment.
Thanks for the suggestions; and that will be all I need!
