Hey guys and gals.

Any tips on getting attention from some of the bigger, hard to get appointment type tattoo artists? I’ve done all the basics, go to the shop, put you name on a list and will probably be forgotten about over the 1-3 year wait period.

Any other tips?

LOL!

Ok, I’ll try that but I’m not sure mine are big enough and my penis might get in between us.

Hi

There 2 ways

1. Money – and I mean pay way over the odds for a piece doing by them. It is a business and if you offer enough they will make time.

2. Variable (depends on artist attitude) but a large amt of publicity connected to the ink. If you get media backing magazines, TV etc they may be tempted to do the piece earlier.

That said my artist has a 6 mths waiting list and i was just patient about itbut have a look round there are hundreds of artists and just because they may well be lesser known in mainstream doesn’t mean they are not excellent at what they do with short waiting lists.

Take Care

true. because nobody has heard of them doesn’t mean they’re not awesome. If you have your heart set on that guy or gal’s work, then wait it out, but in the meantime go to other shops and check out the vibe and portfolios
