so im a first year scratcher. ive been drawing for years…i put down my first tattoo on somebody in high school with a needle wrapped in thread and dipped in india ink. rant. anywayz, i noticed that many great artists never really did an apprenticeship. they began tattooing the hood and their friends. The ones who had talent and passion made it big, no matter if they had formal “training”. i believe i have the passion and skill and have put down at least 10 pieces, no scars, no infections, clean station. its hard to get on at a shop.
scratching is how many of the greats made it.
its how ill make it.
