My last tattoo was on my right shoulder. The guy my wife and I use is terrific to deal with, treats us well, and does really crisp work.
He did however, tattoo over a 1/4″ diameter mole on my right shoulder. Its raised slightly, but is pretty small overall.
Should I be worried? I’ve always wanted to be able to monitor moles and freckles for the skin cancer threat.
I was wondering about having the tattoo lasered where it coveres the mole, so at least I could keep an eye on it.

i have seen tattoos over moles but most artists dont go over them so you are able to keep an eye on them.
you will most likely be able to keep and eye on the size of your mole and the texture but most likely not colour change in it.
i wouldn’t not worry about it too much unless you see a change in it.
( how ever im not a doctor so if it heals badly or gives you any pain i would get it checked out straight away )
