Hi, I’m new so not sure if i have posted this in the correct place.

I’m interested in getting a tattoo of a rose on the top my foot but i want the petals of the rose to be a creamy colour. I want the tattoo to cover a large amount of my foot but wonder if this will be possible with the lighter colour.

Thanks!

Hi

Yes it is possible but depends on the pigmentation of your skin – the darker your skin the darker the ink will need to be.

The second thing is that white does not last very well in the long term and can often fade out or become yellowish with age.

If you mix the pigment with a softer blue or violets, or similar you can create a silver effect that works quite well.

Take care

Thanks for your reply. I have quite a pale skin tone…the sort which burns then turns brown. I like the idea of making it have a silver-ish tone. I really want it as creamy/white as possible as im from Yorkshire so the silver might be a good solution.

Thanks again
