hi
i’m a first timer heer just a quick question…
i would love a tattoo of this fish on my ankle but as i have pretty skinny ankles it can’t real ybe that big :/

any tattoo artists or specialists out there fancy guessing how small this could be done but still preserving its beautiful detail?

Givin’ something so small with much detail usually wouldn’t work if you do indeed have small ankles. That would have to be a piece to where a artist has the room on the canvas to include as much as detail as possible. If they can’t fit it in, in such a tight spot then they simply won’t do it. Either check it out and see if an artist has the skill set to work with small tattoo’s, or choose a different part of the body (like maybe the top surface of the foot, etc)

thankyou for your advice, you’re right it deserves more room.
i am swaying towards the front of my ankle now where there is much more room. to compare i was originally thinking of underneath my medial malleolus.
this might be a long shot but can anyone recommend a good tattoo artist in the west midlands? obv i want it to be right and there;s alot of detail on this fish.
