I haven’t got a tattoo yet, but I am planning to get one in the not too distant future (when I go to uni,) and wanted advice about what sort I should get. I was thinking maybe a black vampire bat, holding a red rose in its claws, but I’m open to ideas (Would like a sort of gothic design, but pretty gothic, if you get what I mean – no skulls with snakes coming out of the eye sockets 😮 ) Either that or a nature themed one.

Also wanted advice about WHERE to have it – I have heard that the lower back is a good place, as the skin there doesn’t change as you get older (Wouldn’t want a saggy tattoo 🙂 ) Not too worried about pain, but would you say there were any areas to really avoid (Is the neck particularly painful? Was thinking about maybe getting a little one there too.)
