Hey guys. My grandpa passed away a couple years ago. I really want to get a tattoo in his memory. I was thinking of something to do with the bullet casings I got back from his 21-gun salute. Any ideas on how to portray a bullet shell without looking tacky or out of place? Thinking about his name on the shell or some script around it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

have an empty shell lying on the ground to symbolize your grandfathers passing with maybe his birthdate-deathdate engraved on the casing and then some fill or shading around the outside/ i dont think that would be tacky
