I want to get a small (1″x1″ish) tattoo on the side of my heel under my ankle and below the line that shoes would show. Would a tattoo work well here? Or would it fade quickly because of the slightly thicker skin ( I don’t want it where the skin is really thickened).

I am thinking of getting a butterfly outline like

or a star with a pattern similar to this – Zebra+heart+tattoo+rib+sexy+girls.jpg

would the second design be to complicated in such a small tattoo?

You’ll have to have it touched up about once a year or every-other year, since it’s going to take a constant beating all day every day.

i would maybe wait til after winter when you can wear sandals unless your in a pretty warm place where u can wear them now. i say this because a friend of mine got one in a similar place recently and hers has been pretty swole up. but if it heals fine you shouldnt need to many touch-ups maybe every few years if that depending on the way you heal also

I’m not sure it would be worth it. The fading would be very fast.
