I want to get a Union Jack but did a few google searches and found this dilemma will the artist use white or not?

Which one looks better? With or without white ink and what will decide if the artist will use it?

Well, using the color white in a tattoo for anything other than some highlights work, is always doomed to fail. The color will turn a sickly kind of yellow and basically look like shit in a very short time. So I say definitely just get it done without the white in the flag.
