I love those complex full of color tattoos, but since it is my first time i decided to go with a simple, small tattoo to see how i get used to it and then move on to the real thing.
A few days ago my little sister was watching one of those japonese cartoons and i saw one mark that fits what i want, take a look

The size is the following, on the shoulder

What do you think of it?
Later i will include the larger tattoo on it.
What most people in this forum think about this tattoo is that:
A) It’s exceedingly boring.
B) It’s a total waste of canvas.
C) If you like it, go for it no matter what anyone else thinks.
i think its boring, i think its a waste of canvas but its your tattoo you should do what you want instead of what other people want.
I think its nice, how small are you talkin? cuz id see that kinda thing being a shoulder coverer Not something id go for myself but each to their own.
Then can you give me any suggestions on a simple black arm tattoo? Have been searching alot but still didnt find a simplistic yet interesting thing.
What i actually have in mind for the future is either a pattern full color tattoo or a maori, like the awesome one from Dwayne http://www.tatuagem.com.br/images/stories/maori/the-rock-tattoo-significados-ok.jpg
Oh sorry i never saw your 2nd link. Yeah i think for a 1st tattoo there is absolutly nothing wrong with that, its sort of a fashionable style at the moment, its not dumb or silly and its high up on your arm.
If your sure you want tattoo,s then i reckon thats as good a place to start as anywhere.

Agreed and will add:
D) I would personally never get a symbol on me that had no meaning whatsoever to me. A piece of art without meaning is still a piece of art, but a symbol without meaning … well it’s kind of like getting a tat of the Nike logo imho.
