thinking about getting this tattoo, but not sure if it looks right on me?

If I were going to so something on my back that large, I’d do something a lot more interesting and a lot more detailed.

I agree with the others so far. You can do what you want, but in my opinion your back is your most important canvas…So I’d do something more intricate and detailed on it.

I’m not into it. I also am a bit disturbed by how the tail feather seems to headed for the “exit.”

OMG… I didn’t even notice. I think all the space above the bird’s head bothered me more.

If you want that as a tattoo I would shrink it down and put it on the inside of your upper arm. Just to plain for the back and it needs to be up onto the shoulders if you insist on it.

😉 thanks, yeah im definately not getting that bird one now.

should i extend the dragon tribal into a shoulder tattoo also?
(KEEP IN MIND: This is not what the finish product is, just to give a basic idea.. ill tell the artists to do what they need to improve it)

What, you didn’t rush into that one then?

You seem to be picking pieces that would be good for a forearm or something, and blowing them up. Generally speaking I think Tribal and Kanji are a waste of space, but you seem be to hell-bent on getting it so just get a really GOOD Tribal artist and ask them to design a tribal piece for your back and arm. If you need to bring in your own design, the tattooer is worthless.

That being said, it is pretty likely that you will regret getting this tattoo in a few years.
