When my husband decided he wanted a Koi half sleeve as his first large piece, I admit, the thought that it was a little boring crossed my mind. Now that it is finished, I am impressed; he picked the right artist, and while I was surprised when he came home with a ‘mottled’ brown koi, I like it!
Here is a cool b/g example i posted before
WOW, who did those?
i like them tbh and you’re right they arent done as much over here in the UK, but i think fuck it who gives a shit, as long as your individual design is unique then get whatever the hell you like. everyone i know could have swallows but i like them so im gonna have them, tough! lol i think if you like them then go for it, i also agree with the comment about dave corden, im trying to book him at the moment while im waiting on bez as he’s much closer to me, just playing with some ideas about exactly what i want which will also suit his style (any suggestions here guys would be great 😉 ) i love feminine tattoos and it doesnt matter to me how many people have them as long as mine is unique and excellently executed 🙂 if you want the hot day of the dead chicks then i say go for it, i think they’re beautiful 🙂 x
that was done by allan padilla.
David Corden has certainly done some good ones, but Dan Chase (works from the studio) has also done some very, very nice ones.
He has his won flowy style with them, maybe worth a look as he’s also quite close to you?
(Sorry, his website is particularly annoying but his PF is well worth a look IMO. He’s also only usually booked out for a few Months in advance)
I can also highly recommend Crispy Lennox at Black Garden Tattoo in London. If you search Facebook for Black Garden, Crispy has an online portfolio on their pages.
Thanks guys, both those you linked are awesome!
They are not far from me either. After my sleeve and back are done I may indulge in one of these.
