Hey guys, im thinking about getting a new tatoo in like the begining of August of a tiger on my lower back but im going on holiday at the end of August, which means i will have like three weeks between the time ive had it done and go away and I’ve heard the sun isnt great for Tattoos. Will this be like a major problem? get it done earlier maybe? is there any ways to protect tattoos on holiday. Thanks

Yes avoid the sun!!

The sun will fade the tattoo faster.

Get the tattoo within the next 2 weeks or so. Then use sunblock with SPF 30+ when you go on holiday. Apply liberally and frequently. And no, you can’t apply sunblock to a new tattoo which is why I suggested getting inked earlier if you can.
